Choose a mode below to begin your climb.
Arrow keys / A-D, or hold left/right side of the mountain on touch | R = Restart from Base Camp
Game Modes
ποΈ Summit β climb to 8,848m (Everest's height) and win. Ropes, thermoses, and crampons all spawn normally.
β οΈ Free Solo β same 8,848m goal, but no ropes ever spawn and no checkpoints. One fall and it's over β no safety net at all.
π In Summit mode only, falling doesn't end your run β you respawn at the last camp you reached, and everything above it regenerates at random. Press R at any time to give up and restart from Base Camp.
βΎοΈ Endless β no summit, no limit, no checkpoints. One fall ends the run β climb for as long as you can and chase a high score.
Power-ups
πͺ’Rope β saves you once from a fall or slip. In Summit mode you can stack as many as you find; in Endless you can only hold one at a time. (Not available in Free Solo.)
π₯Thermos β 3 mega-bounces in a row
π§Crampons β ~10s of safe, full-grip footing, even on ice
Ledges
Rock β solid footing, rebuilds your grip
Ice β slides side to side, drains grip
Gold β bobs up and down
Scree β crumbles a moment after you land
Grip meter
The bar above the mountain β let it hit zero and your bounce weakens until you land on solid rock again.
π¨ A strong gust hits every time you reach a new camp, as the mountain gets harder β brace for it.
